Things are slowly coming to an end it seems. I think I
will miss everybody. Well, this is life. Nevertheless we have worked hard and
learnt many things. Some still remain to be read as I couldn’t read everything.
But that would be without pressure.
This week I have remembered and re-read about Gardner.
I like his ideas and try to use it at school with my students. Providing
different type of activities for everybody is sometimes difficult as I cannot
cater for all. But I always try to do my best on that.
Of course there are different styles of learning,
thanks God. It means there are different types of people. Otherwise we will all
be alike and the world will be boring. There are different strategies used to
make our students learn but the one you choose will have to be in accordance
with the kind of intelligence he/ she has if you want to be successful as a
teacher.
I love thinking different types of activities and as I
am creative I always find a way to get an interesting activity for them. Well,
at least that is what I think.
Not everybody likes everything but learning English
can be a pain or fun. Let us make it this way for us and for our students. I
bore when the activities are not attractive. I think my students do the same.

Hi Elena: yes indeed we have worked very hard these past weeks. And I think you have especially worked very hard. Elena, you are correct that the end of the class is near, but the tools and the readings can go with you as long as you start downloading or making copies of the things that you need. The website will continue to stay up but it will be moved to a archived version. Still I always recommend to make copies, delicious links or downloads of the things that you need the most. -Robert

ReplyDeleteI have the same sad feelings about the ending of our course. It always happens when you part with something good. On the other hand, the last day of the course will become the first day of our new life when we will be not students any more but independent creators of fascinating lessons based on technology. We have so many things left to get to know, there are so many opportunities the Internet offers and which we haven't tried yet due to lack of time. I hope we will keep in touch and, perhaps, will manage to conduct some international projects, for example, with the help of ANVILL.

DeleteDefinitely, the destination of beginning is end, However, End is the way of beginning. so, everything comes and go but only truth is how we adapt it in our life.
talking about our class we started it before 8 weeks ago and now we are at the end of the class. moreover, form that end we learn so many things of using technology in teaching and learning arena.
I think we are very lucky that we got such opportunity, I gonna miss you all.

ReplyDeleteYou're right our course is going to an end these days. We learned various subject matters for enhancing our teaching methodologies with the help of interactive web skills. At the present moment, we are able to set up a sound technology atmosphere for our students. We can share these useful teaching methods to our school teachers, too. I am extremely grateful to Robert and my all classmates who helped me encouraged me in every aspect of this course. I admired your hard work with core of heart. ReplyDeleteThe multiple intelligences theory has played an important part in the modern educational process. Each thing the students like has become an entry for the teacher to match students' needs. Technology enhances the multiple intelligences. Each intelligence can be developed by using some types of technology. At the sane time the students' learning styles play the same role. If the students found that they were in an educational situation that doesn't meet their learning styles, they should help themselves by asking the teacher to help them .
